Gretchen Rossi is not giving up on her dream to start a family. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is planning to undergo IVF again to try for a baby, she shared during a recent interview with DailyMail.com.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Gretchen and her fiancé Slade Smiley, who has two children from a previous relationship, have been open about wanting to start a family since they got engaged in 2013 (clip above). The couple has undergone IVF in the past, and Slade reversed his vasectomy in an effort to have a natural conception. "We have had good feedback from our doctors about our bodies and 'God willing' I can get pregnant in 2018," Gretchen told DailyMail.com. "I know that Slade and I would make great parents because we both love kids and I feel like I am a great mom to our three dogs, so, let’s give it a shot."

This year has already been a monumental one for Gretchen. In January, she finally received a judgment in a defamation case that had been going on for eight years. Gretchen was awarded $523,250 in damages after she sued Jay Photoglou for defamation in 2010 after she claimed he lied about her cheating on her late fiancé Jeff Beitzel with him. She also claimed that he threatened her and stole her personal property, including nude photos that were released online. “I decided enough was enough and to stand up against this individual,” Gretchen addressed the ruling in a statement to PEOPLE. “I fought this fight not only for myself, but for all the women out there who have been harassed or threatened and for those who were too afraid to speak up, or could not have their voice heard. For those who did not have the financial means to fight, and for those who have been hurt or damaged because of individuals who think this is okay to do this to women.”

Gretchen is also continuing to focus on her line of handbags and accessories, Gretchen Christine, which is "set to really expand in 2018 after being bought over by a larger company," according to DailyMail.com. "We are going to do more handbags, make-up and beauty products in 2018, it is such an exciting time for me professionally and I feel very blessed," she said.
