The upcoming season of RHOC brings new challenges and a new Housewife for this California crew.

Clearly, 2020 didn't turn out how anyone thought it would, especially Shannon Storms Beador, who, in the trailer for the upcoming Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County says that she was actually "excited" for the new year.

Well, we all know what happened next. But the new season of RHOC will give us a look at life before and during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic like never before when it premieres on Wednesday, October 14 at 9/8c.

Documenting the highs and lows in the ladies' lives from February to August 2020 with self-shot footage during quarantine, Season 15 of RHOC will follow the group as they navigate new and old relationships, changing family dynamics, and, of course, some major friendship drama.

Shannon, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke will all be back for more fun and drama in the sun. They will also welcome new OC Housewife Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, the CEO of an online music company who originally hails from Missouri, to their social circle this season.

Elizabeth, who we will see go through a divorce this season, is already raising eyebrows among the group, according to the above trailer for Season 15, thanks to her unusual relationship with boyfriend Jimmy. However, this newcomer seems to get two thumbs up from Shannon early on. "Elizabeth Vargas is kind of fun," Shannon exclaims in the trailer.

All of the ladies' relationships will be front and center this season, with Shannon happier than ever with boyfriend John Janssen, Kelly engaged, Gina moving into a new townhome with boyfriend Travis Mullen, Emily experiencing a rebirth of her relationship with husband Shane, and Braunwyn celebrating 20 years of marriage to husband Sean.

But there will be some difficult family moments as well. We'll see Gina do her best to co-parent with her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, following their divorce. Braunwyn will also work to juggle parenting her seven children and making sure they all feel supported, including her son Jacob and his drag dreams.

The pandemic will change everything, from shutting down production on the season to how it resumes with new social distancing measures put in place. It will also cause tension among the group and their loved ones.

It's going to be a season of RHOC like no other.

Catch up on previous seasons of RHOC on Peacock Premium beginning Sunday, September 20.
