The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Stars Reunited to Congratulate America Ferrera on Her Pregnancy
The actresses posted a cute snap — and an important message.
A member of the Sisterhood is expecting her first child! On New Year’s Eve, America Ferrera took to Instagram to share her exciting news, and her The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars were predictably thrilled. (They may have been even more excited than we were! Imagine that.)
On January 2, Ferarra shared a cute snap that showcased her surrounded by besties Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and Blake Lively. The Sisterhood stars placed their hands on Ferrera’s belly and gave huge, giddy smiles to the camera. We’re already jealous of this baby’s super-cool set of aunties!
In her caption, Ferarra referred to the #TIMESUP movement, a cause that she passionately champions alongside some 300 other actresses and female agents. The initiative aims to fight sexual harassment in blue-collar workplaces as well as in Hollywood, and has support from the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington.
Tamblyn also mentioned the initiative in a post that showcased the Sisterhood reunion photo on her own Instagram feed. “Didn’t think anything could beat starting off the new year with the #TIMESUP Legal Defense Fund initiative yesterday, but then...” the actress wrote.
Indeed, 2018 is already shaping up to be a year of sisterhood!
