The Traitors' Robyn Dixon Warns Turret Villains That Their "Lame Strategy Is Getting Old"
The former The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member talks about that anti-Housewife Traitors bias.

This story contains spoilers for The Traitors Season 3, Episode 5.
If there's a trend to be found in this third season of Peacock's Emmy Award-winning competition series The Traitors so far, it's that every single one of the Real Housewives alumni hanging in this Scottish castle are in danger, girl!
It was just three weeks ago that host Alan Cumming welcomed a cast of 21 larger-than-life personalities, including Housewives Chanel Ayan, Dolores Catania, Dorinda Medley, and Robyn Dixon.
And only five episodes into the season, Dorinda, Chanel, and, most recently, Robyn, have all been unceremoniously murdered by the Traitors and sent home.

Is there a Real Housewives bias in the game, or is it something else?
In our latest exit interview, Robyn gave us her strong feelings about the bias, how much harder the game is in person, and her "underwhelmed" reaction to being murdered.
Robyn acknowledges the perceived anti-Housewives bias
Three seasons into The Traitors and it's not a stretch to say one can see a pattern in the Traitors regularly strategizing to dispatch Housewives. Especially this season, Traitors Boston Rob Mariano, Danielle Reyes, and Carolyn Wiger, have picked off three of the four with this week's murder of Robyn.
Was that something Robyn was aware of before she started playing the game?
"It was a total shock to me," Robyn said. "When I went there, I guess I'm just there being naive and [thinking] we're just going to come in and play this game and have a good experience. I was not expecting to have the target on our backs like we did. But once that started happening, I was like, 'OK, I see what's happening here.'"

Asked if she was immediately concerned when Dorinda Medley was the first to be murdered by the Traitors, Robyn said she wasn't surprised because she had been so vocal after the first challenge.
"The first murder is pretty random," she explained. "You don't have a lot to go off of. When she was murdered, I wasn't thinking, 'OK, they're coming for us next,' or 'They're trying to frame us.' At that point, it wasn't something that I thought we should have been worried about."
Robyn says targeting Housewives is bad gameplay
Having survived four and a half episodes, Robyn said she was getting a better sense of the game by the time she was murdered and found the focus on the Housewives to be myopic.

"People were targeting the Housewives, but there's how many gamers?" Robyn questioned of the other subsets of players. "You could say that about Survivor players. You could say that about Big Brother people, or you could say that about gamers in general. Why are you all so focused on us?
"I kind of took it as a compliment," she added. "They clearly are putting us on a different level than what they are, or something. Because you all have the numbers, as well, so why are we just focusing on the Housewives? And it wasn't like we were being exclusive, where we were only talking to each other. We were doing a good job of interacting amongst the group and talking to everyone.
"I had great conversations and interactions with Bob the Drag Queen and Carolyn. Danielle...not so much," she deadpanned.
"Of course, I don't like that they chose that strategy," she closed. "Clearly, it wasn't necessary. But, I get it. They wanted to try to make people think that a Housewife was a Traitor."
Robyn talks about the Season 3 mistakes so far
Looking back at both her personal game and the broader game going on around her this season, Robyn said she definitely made mistakes in pointing an accusatory finger at Wells Adams and Tony Vlachos, both of whom were Faithful.
"After that, I'm like, 'All right, Robyn, just take a step back and just don't think today,' after those two Round Tables," she said of how her wrong moves affected her gameplay.
In her defense, Robyn confirmed how mentally challenging being on The Traitors is.
"It's a lot more difficult being in the game than being a viewer," she said. "I was a viewer. I was totally into Seasons 1 and 2, and watching it like, 'Oh, my God, they're so stupid. How can they not see that?' It's much easier as a viewer to have that perspective when you know who the Traitors are, versus being in the game and you have to look at 20 other people that you don't really know and try to dissect what's going on.
"It was mentally stressful," she reiterated. "But I also didn't beat myself up because clearly, no one's getting it right. I'm just one of the only ones that's vocalizing my thoughts. Everyone else is just playing it safe and keeping it to themselves. But nobody was right until Dylan [Efron]."

As for Boston Rob's reason for putting her up for murder being that there wasn't much attention being paid to her, Robyn disagreed.
"When I watched them make the decision in the turret, I'm like, 'OK, that was underwhelming,'" she said candidly. "I was trying to figure out, 'Why did y'all murder me?' I'm curious if there's something maybe we didn't see? Because after the Round Table, when [Bob the] Drag Queen was banished, I did say to Danielle that 'I think Rob is a Traitor.' I'm thinking she maybe took that back to him. Because I was 1,000 percent convinced that he was a Traitor after that Round Table. So, that's the only thing I can come up with."
Regardless, she doesn't think this trio of Traitors is going to continue to dominate the game.
"It looks to me like the Traitors are about to fall apart," she said. "I know that Carolyn was not on board with murdering Housewives, so hopefully she speaks up a little bit more and stops them from doing that. Hopefully, they realize, 'OK, we're lame, and let's not be so lame and murder the fourth Housewife.' I just hope that they're over it. And so maybe, Dolores actually has a chance, because their lame strategy is getting old."
New episodes of The Traitors Season 3 premiere on Peacock on Thursdays at 9/8c, with the season finale and reunion premiering on March 6.
All episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream right now on Peacock.
