Blake Shelton Has Waited 14 Seasons for This to Finally Happen on The Voice

It's causing chaos among The Voice coaches.

By Laura Rosenfeld

There have been 14 seasons of The Voice so far, and two coaches have been there from the very beginning: Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Obviously, there's a lot that Adam and Blake love about The Voice. However, there is one thing that Blake has felt has been missing from the singing competition all these years.

Lucky for Blake, his dreams finally came true this season of The Voice. "I have been lobbying for this for 14 seasons," Blake revealed during the latest installment of The Real Coaches of The Voice. Find out how this new addition has already totally changed the competition in the video, above.

But as much as things change, they also still stay the same for Blake and his longtime adversary on The Voice, Adam. "After 14 seasons, I've never had to sit next to Adam," Blake shared in The Real Coaches of The Voice finale, above. "In fact, he's been as far away from me as possible — and there's a good reason for that."

Sometimes, no change can be good, too.
