6 Times We Fell in Love with Norman Reedus

The Walking Dead actor has shot a crossbow into our hearts.

By Jocelyn Vena

We don't find it to be much of a coincidence that The Walking Dead returns on Valentine's Day. We've been in love with the show's resident badass, Norman Reedus, for quite some time now. And it's not just because he knows how to use a crossbow and slay zombies week after week as Daryl Dixon — Norman is so much more than that. He's a dad and artist, who has us swooning week after week. Ahead of his appearance on Inside the Actors Studio on Thursday (where he'll appear along with his The Walking Dead co-stars), we're counting down all the times we've fallen for Norman.

Forever Judas

It's hard to take the spotlight away from Lady Gaga in her one of her music videos. And, we mean hard. But, Norman somehow managed to pull it off when he was recruited by the singer to play Biblical bad boy, Judas, who tries to steal the Mother Monster's heart from Jesus. Whether or not he manages to do it, we'll leave it to you to watch the video and find out. But if it helps, did we forget to mention he also smolders on a motorcycle in the visual? (It may have also been what got him his own motorcycle-themed talk show.)

He's a Renaissance Man

Not only can he mug in front of the cameras, he's also got some skills behind them. In addition to his acting work, he's also an accomplished photographer. If he's ever looking for subjects, we volunteer as tribute.

He's an Animal Lover

We swoon for a guy who loves his cat this much.

He's Also Kind of a Softie

Take, for instance, his philosphy about his gig on The Walking Dead as proof. "It's weird how this job, the timing of this job with the timing of the events of my life somehow ended up like this... Somehow doing this job, with these people, in this environment, with this crew and this material it's made Norman a better man," he said on Inside the Actor's Studio.

He Adores His Fans

Whether he's posing for endless selfies with his devotees or taking some time out to Skype with fans when they're down, the love is mutual.
