This Is Hands-Down the Hardest Part of Being on The Real Housewives of New York City
We finally found something the RHONY ladies can agree on, according to Dorinda, Ramona, and Tinsley.
It's not easy being a Real Housewife. You have to navigate all the drama of your relationships with friends, family, and significant others right in the public eye.
But the worst part of being a Housewife, according to The Real Housewives of New York City, at least, has nothing to do with salacious rumors, disastrous dinners, or zany girls' trips at all. No, the hardest part of being a member of the RHONY crew is actually just sitting down for those confessional interviews, Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer recently revealed to Refinery29.
Why can this be so difficult, you ask? “You have to go back in time and then talk about things," Tinsley explained. "It gets uncomfortable.”
Ramona agreed that reliving drama by talking about it in interviews can be really hard to get through. “Confessionals are the worst part. They really are," she said. "They’re definitely cringeworthy sometimes.”
What's even worse is seeing what the other RHONY ladies said about you in their confessionals. “Your life gets played back,” Tinsley said. “I might have been super fine with Sonja at the end, but then I’m watching it back, and I’m like, ‘That bitch.'”
And Tinsley said that can potentially undo any resolution that may have been reached with a fellow Housewife at the end of the season. If you've ever seen a Real Housewives reunion, you know exactly what she means.
