Network Confirms Thomas Ravenel Will Not be Returning as a Cast Member on Southern Charm

Thomas Ravenel won't be returning as a cast member on Southern Charm next season. PEOPLE was the first to report on the news. Thomas has been a cast member on the series since it launched in 2014, with the Charleston native letting fans in on his life, friendships, and his former romance with Kathryn C. Dennis, with whom he has two children.
Thomas' departure from Southern Charm was confirmed after he was booked on Tuesday morning (September 25) in Charleston County, S.C. on charges of alleged assault and battery second degree, E! News reports. Additional details about the incident and arrest were not available as of press time.
Prior to the news of Thomas' exit, he sat out the Season 5 reunion, as Andy Cohen addressed in a statement at the time from Thomas’ attorney, reading: "Along with Bravo, our client made the mutual decision not to attend today's reunion taping as there is a pending investigation. Our client is fully cooperating with authorities on that investigation. He expects to be completely vindicated once the investigation is concluded. He sends his best regards to his fans and his fellow castmates."
