Tensions were definitely high at the party where Brittany Cartwright was alerted to a recording featuring her boyfriend, Jax Taylor, saying some not-so-nice things to former SURver Faith post-fling. The moment certainly sent shock waves throughout the Vanderpump Rules crew. And after it was exposed, it appeared as if Tom Sandoval was taking Jax's side, despite his adulterous behavior, and not his girlfriend, Ariana Madix's, side, who had been there when Brittany was made aware of the recording. (Check out the clip above for the full moment.)
But, now he's here to clear the air in an interview with E! News. "That's the biggest misconception. If anything I was more on Brittany's side, it's just that Brittany was so drunk that the last thing I wanted her to do is hear something that traumatic in that state of mind. I was in no way, shape or form on Jax's side. It just was the mental state she was in. And then of course the next day she was like 'I don't remember it'... so all that for nothing!"
Still, Sandoval insists that this is not the first time he's been there or heard about Jax making some questionable decisions. He added of his longtime friendship we Jax: "We lived in Miami in the early 2000s!"
