Tom Sandoval Reveals If Anyone Actually Calls Him "Sandy"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shed new light on that Schwartz and Sandy's moniker.
As fans learned in the Season 9 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval plan to open their own restaurant. They broke the news to Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd during a meeting at Tom Tom in the opening minutes of the premiere episode.
At the time, they didn't share the name of the restaurant with their business partners. But it was revealed elsewhere in the episode: Schwartz and Sandy's. The Schwartz and Sandy's name was met with some mixed feelings from other folks close to them in the episode, including Katie Maloney-Schwartz, who didn't hold back. Her response to it was "I think it's horrible" and "Ugh. I lost my boner."
There was a detail Sandoval did share with LVP and Ken: the vibe of the restaurant, which he described as "James Turrell, light artist, went over to his grandma's house and took some acid... It's really cool," to which Schwartz added, "That's pretty bold."
On Tuesday (September 28), the same night of the Vanderpump Rules premiere, Schwartz and Sandoval appeared on Watch WHat Happens Live with Andy Cohen. During their appearance, Sandoval was asked if anyone actually calls him by the nickname "Sandy."
His answer might surprise you, which you can check out in the video, above.
So back to Sandoval's other endeavor. You know, Tom Tom. During his appearance on Tuesday's WWHL, he shared a tidbit about the celebrity clientele of that hotspot. When it was revealed that he has Miley Cyrus' info in his "Rolodex," he shared that backstory. "She did [come to Tom Tom]," he said of the performer, who also happens to be a Vanderpump Rules fan. "She did, and she brought me a boatload of weed. I literally just finished it [and] that was like a year ago."
