Clubhouse Playhouse: From Justin to Kelly!

Yes, you were not hallucinating during the 2017 Tony Awards on Sunday night. That was, in fact, Justin Guarini. The American Idol alum made an appearance during the telecast when he took the stage during the In Memoriam segment to perform the Boyz II Men classic "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday."

Justin at the 2017 Tonys on June 11, 2017.

According to Billboard, he performed alongside former Hamilton star Okieriete Onaodowan, among others.

Justin's appearance on the show isn't as random as you might think. He's actually been keeping busy the last few years popping up on the NYC stage. He's appeared in shows like Romeo and Juliet, Wicked, and, most recently In Transit, which took its final curtain call back in April.

He later reflected on Sunday's performance on Instagram. "It was such an honor performing with these fine [sic] gentleman last night. My heart was pounding, and my mind was racing...until I got the first few notes out and just let it all go (the worry, knowing whom I was singing for and why, etc). In the end, I had so much fun and loved every second of the performance," he shared. "Thank you all for your kinds words and encouragement, they mean a lot to me and always help carry me through the the good times and the bad."

And we have to say that Justin, who attended the show with his lovely wife on his arm, has aged like a fine wine since his American Idol days.
