The former Cheftestant shared the exciting news with an adorable Instagram photo featuring the two of them wearing some lovely engagement bling, as well as this swoonworthy caption: "She said YES to a lifetime of Sunday morning coffee dates and bed head. Engaged. She is magical."
And not that we needed any more proof that these two were made for each other, but Kristen did previously call Bianca her "forever date."
Kristen took home the honor of winning Top Chef back in the day after beating out Brooke Williamson. At that time, Kristen was only the second female to win the competition. She also later appeared on Top Chef Duels.
But all these years later there doesn't seem to be any hard feelings between the ladies as Brooke and Kristen do occasionally pop up on each other's social media. Brooke, who later returned to Top Chef and won Season 14, even commented on the photo announcing the engagement with a heart emoji.
After winning Top Chef, Kristen shared what her goals in life were at that time — and we have to say they seem just as sound today as they did when she shared with The Daily Dish back then. "I try not to think so far down the road. Sometimes it's not a smart thing but if I put these goals in place — specific ones like opening a restaurant — I get clouded and if I don't make it happen, I'll get upset," she said, adding, "As cheesy as this sounds, I just want to be happy. I want to cook and be happy."
