Lisa Vanderpump's Villa Rosa Has a New Resident (VIDEO)

Lisa Vanderpump has been grieving the death of her beloved miniature horse, Rosé, ever since she unexpectedly passed away in August 2022.

Fans may recall that the Vanderpump Rules matriarch gifted both Rosé and fellow mini horse Diamonds to her husband, Ken Todd, for his 70th birthday during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6. So, it's no surprise that Diamonds took the loss just as hard as Lisa and Ken. Upon announcing Rosé's death, Lisa wrote in-part on Twitter, “Diamonds is crying for her…us too."

She also opened up about the loss on Vanderpump Rules' Episode 11. Speaking to her dog, Puffy, Lisa said, "You know I'm upset. You're going to miss her too, I know."

Added Lisa in a confessional, "Rosé was only about six. She was a baby when we got her. She'd never had a day's illness in her life, but suddenly she was laying down and she just seemed to be in pain."

Continuing to recount the difficult day, Lisa shared, "Ken literally put her in the back of the car to take her to the vet, and unfortunately, she died just before he got there."

"She was so perfect," Lisa said as she continued to reminisce on Rosé's life with Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval, who brought her flowers to show their sympathy. Still, despite the kind gesture, Lisa admitted she felt "emotionally depleted."

Meet Lisa's New Pet

Thankfully, things are now taking a turn for the better on Vanderpump Rules' upcoming Episode 14 (set to air Wednesday, May 10). Why? Because as the above sneak peek shows, Lisa and Ken are getting another mini horse.

As Ken tells Diamonds, "I'm sure you know you've got a friend coming. I can tell, you know."

Enter Lisa and the new mini horse, Velvet. "I know it's not Rosé," Lisa tells Diamonds, "but it's a friend!"

Velvet's cameo ends there, but we're fairly certain that won't be the last fans see of Villa Rosa's newest resident. After all, Lisa often shares updates about her various pets on social media.
