Raquel Leviss Breaks Down During Her First Date with Peter Madrigal

We also know how Lala Kent feels about Tom Sandoval amid her drama with Tom Schwartz.

By Shannon Raphael

On the February 8 premiere of Vanderpump Rules Season 10, James Kennedy referred to his live-in girlfriend, Ally Lewber, as “the love of [his] life,” so his ex-fiancée, Raquel Leviss, is now more than ready to get back out on the dating scene.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The SURver didn’t have to look far to find her first post-engagement date. After Raquel made out with Peter Madrigal during a night out, the SUR manager asked if he could take her out for nachos. Raquel accepted, though she asked Peter if they could keep their connection light and casual for the time being.

In a first look at Episode 2, Peter takes Raquel on that “casual” date, and thankfully, no nachos are involved. Tears, however, are, as things quickly take an emotional turn for Raquel.

As Raquel tells Peter about her recent pageant loss and retirement, she shares that she’s been in a “deep depression” because she now feels like she’s at a crossroads in her life.

“It’s hard,” she tells Peter through tears. “Just trying to figure out my life, and obviously, like, I could go back to school and get my Master’s, but I just want to be single and live my life.”

In a confessional, Raquel admits that, for the first time, she’s not sure what she’s going to do next.

“Breaking free from this relationship scares me,” Raquel says. “Everyone seems to have their life figured out, and I just, like, f--king don’t know what’s happening.”

Raquel may be feeling some mixed emotions about her future, but she had a solid reason why she wanted to go out with Peter.

At the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 premiere party in Los Angeles, Raquel exclusively told BravoTV.com that she has become a “yes person” now that she’s single. Since Peter “seemed super confident” when he asked her out, she felt like it could be a good idea to break the post-breakup dating ice with someone she knew.

“I’m like, ‘OK, I guess we can break that awkward first date interaction with someone that I actually already know and feel comfortable with,” she explained. “That’s why Peter and I went on a few dates.”

Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz Throw a "Non-Opening" Party

Fans will have to stay tuned to find out how the rest of Raquel and Peter’s date goes, but their outing isn’t the only awkward interaction that will take place on Episode 2.

When Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz host a “non-opening” party for their restaurant/lounge, Schwartz & Sandy’s, Lala Kent shares that Schwartz is still on her “s--t list.” She does feel differently about his business partner, though.

“I like Tom Sandoval, and I can appreciate hard work,” she says. Find out what Lala really thinks about the decor at Schwartz & Sandy’s by watching the video above.
