Scheana Shay Has Made a Big Decision When It Comes to Her Future as a Mom and She's "Terrified"

Everyone seems to be deep in adulting mode on Vanderpump Rules this season. Weddings are in the works. Businesses are coming to fruition. And, for Scheana Shay, the thought of motherhood is on her mind. She's confirmed that she is currently in the process of freezing her eggs, which, she admitted to Us Weekly, is a pretty big deal.

“I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’m really doing this.’ And I freaked the F out," she said, noting that the hormone injections have her "terrified." “I’m not looking forward to it,” she added. “But I know it would be very selfish of me to not do it now and then be, like, 40 and find the love of my life and be like, ‘I should have frozen my eggs when I was 33.’”

Currently single, Scheana noted that she looks at her future differently these days following her divorce from Mike Shay and her split from Rob Valletta. “With Rob, I thought that’s where it was going,” she said. “So I still do believe in marriage. But it would take someone really, really special to have me go through all that again.”

She also addressed her decision to freeze her eggs a bit more on Twitter, explaining that she's made some lifestyle changes to accomodate her decision, but was quick to note "...Did I say I’m ready to be a mom? Nope. Hence FREEZING MY EGGS."
