Vicki Gunvalson Is Already Planning Her Next Trip to Hang with Briana Culberson Because Moms, Right?
The RHOC OG even plans to bring a special guest along for the next excursion to North Carolina.
Vicki Gunvalson took some time off from the OC recently to visit her daughter, Briana Culberson, who has been thriving in North Carolina with her family. While in town, The Real Housewives of Orange County OG was treated to some of the sights frequented by Briana and her husband, Ryan Culberson.
"Having a great day with Briana and Ryan at all their favorite spots. [One] more day with them until I head home," she shared on Instagram, before revealing she's already booking her next flight — with a special guest also slated to make the trek with her. "I’ll be back on Christmas Day with [Steve Lodge]."
When Vicki chatted with The Daily Dish back in September, she revealed just why she thinks her daughter's life in North Carolina is a better fit for her than when she was living in Orange County.
"She bought a beautiful ranch-style home on 25 acres. They have deer in their backyard. They're getting some chickens. She and Ryan have been on this quest to really lose weight and get healthy, which they have done. Between the two of them, they have lost 65 pounds and they're just happy," she said. "Even her posts and even her demeanor — she's just happy. And the life I wanted her to live in Orange County, California was not what she wanted. She wants rural. She wants to go to the corner and get her strawberries and her sweet corn, her bacon from the pig farm. It's crazy, but that's what she does. She's very organic and very clean eating. No processed foods anymore."
While Briana has struggled with health issues, including lupus, these days she's busy caring for her family — and her patients.
"She works at the University of North Carolina at one of their satellite hospitals. And I think that the Orange County life — the busy, keep up with the Joneses, the blond hair and the tall shoes and the big boobs [life] — she's not that girl. She's my country bumpkin, living-life-large girl. They're two hours away from the coast and she's an hour away from the mountains, so she gets a little bit of Orange County lifestyle, just in a different environment."
