Was Gregg Leakes Excited for NeNe Leakes to Make Her Return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
Gregg is very much ride or die when it comes to his wife's decisions.
When it came time for NeNe Leakes to re-enter The Real Housewives of Atlanta squad this season, the Atlanta mom definitely had Gregg Leakes on her side because, if you ask Mrs. Leakes, her hubby is always there for her no matter what she wants to do.
“Gregg is very supportive, first of all, of anything I want to do. His only concern was that I keep him up all night with, ‘Oh my gosh, can you believe that just happened?’ Gregg was like, ‘If you go back, I’m not going to be able to sleep!’” she recently told Us Weekly. NeNe and Gregg first married in 1997 before remarrying her in 2013 after a brief separation. When The Daily Dish spoke to NeNe's man back in 2016, he shared why he thinks their relationship works. "Respect, communication, love, and we will never stop trying. And I let her be her. That's it."
And while Gregg's enthusiasm for anything and everything his wife does hasn't changed over the years, something about her longtime love has. “When we started shooting, I really didn’t know what I was walking into. I hadn’t even entered my 40s! My youngest son was in the third grade — he’ll be 19 this month. My oldest son was in high school. He’s 28! I didn’t even have a grandbaby. And Gregg’s hair wasn’t gray, it’s gray now!” she added to Us Weekly.
