Was Real Housewives of Orange County's David Beador on Ashley Madison?

Heather Dubrow Knew of the Affair

Shannon Beador and her husband David have let viewers into their marital issues following David's extramarital affair during the current season of Real Housewives of Orange County — and the couple delved even further into their relationship on Watch What Happens Live Monday night (October 6). Among the issues discussed were Shannon's conversation with David's mistress, as well as the fact that co-star Heather Dubrow knew of the affair but didn't tell anyone (see clip above). Another topic of discussion was whether or not David had ever considered joining the adultery website Ashley Madison. Shannon insists she never believed David was on it following a leak of user names back in August, and David confirmed that he never joined the site.

"And I think it crossed Shannon's mind also actually..." David said. "Trust me, it's not on there. Wasn't even a thought process for me." Shannon believes that David never would have cheated had his mistress not pursued the relationship. "Abosultely. You nailed it right there [that he only cheated because she was an aggressor]," she told Andy Cohen. "Oh there could be [another aggressor out there], but I'm not worried about it anymore."

The Beadors also shared with Andy how the affair —  and its inclusion on the show — has affected their children, Sophie, Stella, and Adeline.

"One of the things that we have gotten a lot of backlash about in bringing this on the show was the effect that it's had on our children, and we sat down with our children with counselors and everything before filming and asked them their opinions," Shannon said. "[We asked] our kids, 'What if mom and dad talk about what happened on the show? Everyone's going to know about it then.' Because [our relationship counselor] Tina says 'Secrets can make you sick.' You know, the bottom line is whether I came back on the show or not, I'm not going to be on a reality show and not talk about what's going on in my life. I'm very honest and authentic. We had the talk, if i'm going back on the show we have to talk about it because it's what's going on. And people did know about it."
