Here's the Juiciest Gossip We Heard from Watch What Happens Live Guests in 2016
We're still not over all of these major revelations from #WWHL.
One of the things we love most about Watch What Happens Live is that we never know what Andy Cohen's guests are going to do on live TV. Drinks have been thrown, breasts have been flashed, and Grammy Awards have been taken back over the course of WWHL's 13 seasons so far.
But it's what the WWHL guests say during their visit to the Bravo Clubhouse that really blows our minds. Whether it's Andy or callers asking the question, WWHL guests always come prepared to spill the dirt.
This year was no exception. The gossip we heard on WWHL in 2016 was so juicy, we're still not over these shocking revelations from this season.
1. Jenna Fischer Made Us Love The Office's Jim and Pam Even More
The Office's Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) and Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) are always going to make up one of our favorite TV couples of all time, especially after Jenna revealed the secret to her and John's chemistry on the show. "John and I have real chemistry," Jenna said on WWHL in January. "There's, like, a real part of me that's Pam and a real part of him that's Jim, and those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another. But in real life, we aren't totally Pam and totally Jim, so in real life we're not, like, the perfect match." John later responded to Jenna's comments, saying that he thought they were "taken wildly out of context," but he did acknowledge that "she was trying to say something nice about how genuine the acting relationship was" and "it's such an honor to be a part of that relationship." So perhaps it's best to just watch reruns of The Office if you want to keep on feeling the love instead.
2. Connie Chung Is a Member of the Mile-High Club
Andy predicted that journalist Connie Chung and professional baseball player Matt Harvey would be "the most fun 'Never Have I Ever' match-up in the history of Watch What Happens Live," and that definitely turned out to be the case. Not only did we find out that the hard-hitting legend Connie has smoked weed, but we also discovered that she is a member of the Mile-High Club. Does that mean her husband of 32 years, Maury Povich, is one, too?
3. Jennifer Lopez Made Her Rumored Feud with Mariah Carey Worse
Jennifer Lopez served up one of the shadiest WWHL moments of the year when she attempted to explain why she seemed to be texting during Mariah Carey's performance at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. "First of all. That was not fair, with the texting thing. Because I watched a lot... it was a long performance. Ok? I watched most of it. I may have looked down for one second. People were like, ‘Look at her! Look at her!’ So not fair. So not fair. I was watching her the whole time," she said during a round of "Plead the Fifth." She also said she didn't have a chance to see her Las Vegas show, even though she fit in Britney Spears' concert. For the record, Mariah also revealed on WWHL this year that she still doesn't know J.Lo.
4. Iggy Azalea Spilled on Britney Spears' Security
Apparently, Britney doesn't take any chances when it comes to eating salad. Her "Pretty Girls" collaborator Iggy Azalea revealed that the pop star had her people check out her pad before she came over to eat some much-talked-about greens. "They came and checked my place to make sure I wasn't trying to stash anything weird and give it to her or something," the rapper divulged during an appearance on WWHL in March. But Iggy had no hard feelings about the incident and even said that she and Britney were "cool" during the episode.
5. Gizelle Bryant Made a Bold Claim About Charrisse Jackson Jordan's Love Life
Charrisse Jackson Jordan struggled with her marriage to husband Eddie Jordan last season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which eventually led to her revealing to The Daily Dish that she felt like the two were headed toward divorce. However, her RHOP castmate Gizelle Bryant alleged that Charrisse had already moved on when she appeared on WWHL in April. "Well, you know, they're gonna do what they've been doing. He's gonna be with his girlfriends, and she's going to be with her boyfriend, the fireman," Gizelle said. "He has big muscles and everything. He's cute. Go, Charrisse." Charrisse refuted Gizelle's claims during an interview with The Daily Dish later that month, saying there was "no truth to it."
6. Chloe Grace Moretz Finally Confirmed Her Relationship with Brooklyn Beckham
Chloe Grace Moretz had long been linked to Brooklyn Beckham, but she never really confirmed their relationship — that was, until she visited the Clubhouse in May. "We're in a relationship. It's fine. It's no biggie," Chloe told Andy during a game of "Plead the Fifth." "And I think that, you know, the more I don't make it mysterious, the more people don't care. So yes, we're in a relationship." Chloe joked about the news being "very exciting" for WWHL viewers, but yeah, it actually was.
7. Joe Jonas Revealed Which of His Famous Exes He Would Shag, Marry, or Kill
Joe Jonas has had a lot of famous loves in his life. So of course, when he visited the Clubhouse in July, Andy just had to ask who out of his famous exes of Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, and Gigi Hadid he would Shag, Marry, or Kill. And to our surprise, Joe actually answered instead of pleading the fifth as he could have easily done during the game. "I'll marry Demi. She's a friend," he said. "Oh... this is a game, right? Shag Taylor, kill Gigi. There you go." Yeah, we probably shouldn't read too much into Joe's response since it was just a game, but we feel like it was illuminating nonetheless.
8. Jules Wainstein Opened Up About Her Divorce
Jules Wainstein shocked fans of The Real Housewives of New York City when she announced her plans to divorce her husband Michael Wainstein in June. The RHONY rookie then bravely shared more details about her split with WWHL viewers in August, including that she knew her ex's alleged mistress. Not only was that surprising to hear, but this was also definitely one of the rawest WWHL moments of the year.
9. We Got Proof That Phaedra Parks and Shemar Moore Have Chemistry
It almost seemed like Andy played matchmaker when The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks and actor Shemar Moore sat down next to one another in a December episode of WWHL. After the singles opened up about their love lives, Shemar snuggled and kissed Phaedra, which seemed to delight her. Phaedra joked that she had finally found the man she'd been looking for, but we really wish she had been serious. Phaedra and Shemar forever!
10. Jennifer Lawrence Has a Habit of Mocking This Celeb
WWHL went out with a bang this year, thanks to its final guest of 2016, Jennifer Lawrence. The Oscar winner's BFF Laura revealed that J.Law some not-so-nice nicknames for one celebrity whose identity remains a mystery: "the Lady," "the Raging Lady," "the Lady in Red," and "the Lady in Waiting." Fingers crossed that Jennifer returns to WWHL to give us the deets on who she was referring to one day.
Now after sipping all of that tea, get a taste of what you can expect from the new Clubhouse when WWHL returns in 2017, below.
