How to Watch

Watch Summer House on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The Summer House-mate, who joined the cast on Season 8, just announced that he is going to be appearing on a dating web series for Complex called West Date Ever.

The sports writer shared the news on his Instagram feed on August 21 by posting the show announcement graphic. In the photo, West is wearing tennis clothes, including a sweatband, and he's holding a bouquet of flowers. He's lying down on the floor in the image, and a woman appears to be getting ready to stomp on him.

"Love you say it back," he captioned his post. West Date Ever will be premiering on August 22 at 12 p.m. ET on YouTube.

When describing the premise of the show in an Instagram Q&A, West said, it's "essentially taking different guests on silly dates that have fun competition but also having conversations about life and love because they all have unique stories trying to date in the public eye."

As for the guests, West said that the show will feature everyone from influencers to athletes. Though the show is a dating series, West said that the main goal is "mostly to unpack people's stories about life and dating while navigating the spotlight." However, he isn't opposed to finding a special connection along the way.

West also teased the show during a recent interview with Decider. "I have a new show coming out with Complex, which we’re really excited about... So, we got a lot of things moving," West said, before mentioning his time of unemployment, which viewers saw play out on Summer House Season 8. "But yeah, I mean, I am super busy, but having been laid off a year-and-a-half ago now, I know how uncomfortable I feel when I don’t have a job I’m passionate about. And so to be able to get back into that and then have full support and everything and do things that I love to do, just fulfills me and I love doing that. So, it’s honestly awesome. But keep an eye out for the show. It’s going to be sick."

Where West Wilson and Ciara Miller stand today

West may now be single and ready to mingle, but he was involved in a complicated situationship with fellow Summer House castmate Ciara Miller on Season 8.

The two initially connected while cooking the very first group dinner of the summer on the Season 8 premiere, and they went on to grow even closer as the summer progressed. After the summer ended (and filming wrapped), West and Ciara continued to spend time with one another. They attended a wedding together, and they made trips to visit West's parents and his brother. Their romance lasted through the fall, but things soured between them by December 2023.

"[You told me] that you can't commit because, basically, for show-related reasons," Ciara said to West on Part 1 of the Season 8 reunion.  As a result, Ciara said, she "stopped talking to [him] altogether."

"Because I think that's mean to take someone to your parents' house and want to sleep with them when you have no intention of doing anything," she added.

She later wondered if West had used her for "clout" because "it was definitely a little easier for [him] to latch onto someone as opposed to being out there on [his] own and people questioning [him] about [his] dating life and stuff."
