We Have Huge News About Jeana Keough's Kids

The RHOC alum's eldest, Shane Keough, shared what he, Kara, and Colton are up to these days on WWHL.

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen's special episode dedicated to the children of The Real Housewives featured one of the very first members of this prestigious club. Shane Keough, the eldest child of original Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Jeana Keough, joined Andy Cohen in the virtual Clubhouse to reflect on what life has been like since appearing in those early seasons of the franchise.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

RHOC fans followed Shane's career in baseball on the show, and he opened up more about his time in the sport during his appearance on WWHL on May 9. "I got to High-A, so I was in Northern California for a few years," Shane said during the WWHL After Show (clip above). "But we played the Cardinals organization a little bit."

That wasn't Shane's only connection to the Cardinals. His grandfather, Marty Keough, was part of the Cardinals organization for 45 years after his career as a professional baseball player. "It's pretty cool," Shane told famous Cardinals fan Andy about his grandpa. "He just retired two years ago [in] his mid-80s."

Shane's father, Matt Keough, was also a professional baseball player, most notably for the Oakland Athletics, with whom he continued to work after his days on the diamond. Matt passed away last year at the age of 64.

Shane has since pivoted his career to a different field altogether. "I live in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm in real estate," he shared an update during the WWHL After Show. "I have an environmental sustainability agency, so we focus on how to make the world a better place."

Just like baseball, real estate appears to be in the Keough kids' DNA as the youngest sibling, Colton, is also working in this industry, Shane revealed. "Colton's doing real estate," he said. "He works with my mom down in Irvine, so family business, I guess."

If that didn't make you feel old, the fact that Colton turned 29 years old earlier this month will definitely do the trick. Shane gave his little brother a special shout-out in honor of his birthday on Instagram on May 2. "Happy Birthday, @coltonkeough. The master meat smoker, yacht wrangling, tractor driving, dog dad, uncle, Lil bro, is turning 29 today - man I’m old," Shane captioned a collection of photos of Colton and their family. "I am proud to call you my brother and hope you have the best of days today."

Jeana also posted a photo of Colton looking all grown up in honor of Mother's Day on May 9.

Earlier during his appearance on WWHL, Shane shared how sister Kara Keough Bosworth is doing after welcoming son Vaughn at the end of March. "She's great," Shane said. "You know, we talk about mothers, it's weird that my younger sister just birthed her third child."

Kara's baby boy was born a year after she lost her second child, son McCoy, a few days after his birth in April 2020. She and husband Kyle Bosworth are also parents to 5-year-old daughter Decker. "She's a warrior, man," Shane said of Kara on WWHL. "Seeing her little boy, seeing the joy that he's bringing to the family and so many moms around the world who have suffered a loss like that, it's inspiring beyond belief."

Shane also took to Instagram to wish his mom and sister a happy Mother's Day. "Happy Mother’s Day to these two. There isn’t enough I can say that will capture the love and respect I have for @jeana.keough and @karakeoughboz. They both are warriors and have taught me so much about patience, compassion, and how to never give up," Shane captioned a series of photos with his loved ones over the years. "The world is better because these two are in it, and I am so lucky to have them. I love you both soooo much! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!"
