Thanks to her Cuban upbringing, Real Housewives of Miami star Marysol Patton knows how to rid her world of bad energy.

"Cubans are a very spiritual group of people," she says. "Many Cubans believe in negative energy, and positive energy, and how you attract it."

Cuban Superstitions with Marysol

"Incense. You have to use church incense," says Marysol, who inherited her spiritual sensibility from her mother, Mama Elsa. "It's actually what the priest has when he's swinging the copper thing around. And then some very good Indian incense, because only the Indians know how to make good incense."

Next up on her list: "Candles which bring white light, and light energy," she says.

Finally, Marysol swears by her collection of corals, which she claims bring love.

"I love love and being married," says Marysol, referencing her tumultuous love life. "Again and again and again!"
