New Potomac Housewife Stacey Rusch Details Her Unique Living Situation with Her Ex
"Now that my husband and I are separated, we have agreed to approach our divorce with class,” said Stacey Rusch.
The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 newcomer Stacey Rusch is enjoying dating again after separating from her husband, but she still has a unique living arrangement with her ex.
Stacey and her husband made the decision to split after 16 years of marriage but are still in the middle of their divorce, according to her Bravo bio. The situation has made it necessary for Stacey to get creative when it comes to navigating the breakup.
Here's what to know about where Stacey lives.
Stacey Rusch’s living arrangements
Stacey's estranged husband, Thiemo Rusch, is a senior vice president of sales operations for Audi of America, according to msn.com. While they are no longer together, they share an 8-year-old daughter, Arabella.
“Now that my husband and I are separated, we have agreed to approach our divorce with class,” said Stacey. “We are still living together as a family.”
Stacey then candidly shared bedtime details.
“We do sleep in separate bedrooms,” she said, “and you know, our focus is our daughter. That’s what we're doing in the same home while we're getting a divorce.”
However, she doesn't spend all her time in the same house as her former partner.
“Right now, I have two homes,” Stacey said. “I have my home where Arabella lives and where my husband is currently living. I also have an apartment in D.C. I try to time things so that when he’s home, I'm in D.C. ‘working.’ Then, when he travels, I’m back home with Arabella.”
However, Stacey noted she and her ex have both moved on and are back on the dating scene.
“I know that my ex-husband is seeing people. I know it, and I’m sure that he knows that I'm seeing someone too. But we don’t talk about things like that," she explained.
Stacey does talk to fellow Housewife Ashley Darby about things like that: namely TJ, a new man in her life.
“TJ and I met at his audition to become a host at QVC,” said Stacey. “It was this genuine friendship. And then after about six months, we just both couldn't deny that we wanted to be a part of one another's lives.”
Stacey is taking it slow with TJ, though.
TJ “is a devout Christian so we are not intimate at all. We've been seeing each other for a couple of months, and it’s fine,” said Stacey.
“Do you want to marry this man?” Ashley probed.
“Well, I think we're on that journey,” said Stacey.
