During Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Whitney Rose shared with viewers her father Steve's journey with sobriety. By the end of the season, at the reunion, Whitney revealed an update about her relationship with her dad, sharing that the two were not speaking to one another at the time.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on Peacock and the Bravo App.

“We actually, after the show, had built back a very beautiful foundation, and we were communicating very well,” she shared during the reunion, which aired back in February. “He came and saw me for my birthday, and I never saw him again. He’s disappeared, he won’t respond to me. I saw this going very differently. I saw us watching together and celebrating. There’s so many opportunities for him to change his life, especially now with this platform. I still want people to root for him. That’s what he needs. He needs love.”

Whitney appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday (September 26) and offered an update on her relationship with her dad today. "I still have not heard from my dad. It's been one year on Saturday," she said. "But I do hear, Andy, that he's well, meaning he's OK. He's accounted for."

Whitney's family is definitely an important subject for her. She was joined by her husband, Justin, for her Bravo Clubhouse appearance this past weekend; he was on hand as the night's bartender.

She also often keeps fans up to date on their life with their two kids, Bobbie and Brook, on her Instagram. The kids recently kicked off the school year, and Whitney shared how she was feeling in a post back in August. "Bobbie started 6th Grade and Brooks 3rd Grade. [Dogs] Rocky and Louis had to get in the action, they are going to miss their pals," she wrote. "Any other parents out there just as excited as your kids for their first day of school??"

Last week, Whitney posted a family photo and couldn't help but gush about her husband and kids. "I love all of these amazing humans so damn much!" she wrote, adding, "Family first."
