Meghan King Edmonds may be starting a family of her own now that she's pregnant with her first child, but we wonder if The Real Housewives of Orange County mom-to-be has plans to continue to grow her family, considering the fact that she comes from quite a large clan of her own.
Meghan is the oldest of four siblings, followed by sisters Caitlin and Julie King and brother RJ King. "We're so close," Meghan told The Daily Dish earlier this summer. "Literally, we talk every single day, all four of us. It's so much fun."
However, Meghan has received mixed reviews from her siblings — who all know what it's like to be in the spotlight — when it comes to her being a part of RHOC. Meghan said RJ isn’t a huge fan of the show, but "Julie loves it and thinks it's so awesome. And Caitlin is kind of in the middle. Like, she likes it, but she doesn't really want to be on it, but she is a little bit," Meghan explained. "And then my mom and dad hated it the first year. And now that they saw all the feedback, they love it."
It's actually pretty impressive that Meghan and her siblings do such an amazing job at keeping in touch, considering how busy they all are. Get to know all of the King kids below, and you'll soon see that Meghan isn't their only connection to reality TV.
Caitlin may look like Meghan's twin, but she has actually chosen a very different career path from her older sister. Caitlin is a vet tech living in the Kings' hometown of St. Louis.
However, Caitlin is no stranger to the limelight. She appeared in Season 21 of The Amazing Race with her best friend Brittany Fletcher. Unfortunately, Caitlin and Brittany came in ninth place in the competition after being eliminated in the third leg of the race. Seeing her impressive physique in the above pic, it should also come as no surprise that Caitlin was a forward in Auburn University's women's soccer team and has modeled in the past, both vocations that run in the family, as you will soon see.
Speaking of soccer, Meghan's youngest sister Julie is currently a defender for the pro team the Boston Breakers. Not only did Julie take to the field as a soccer star for Auburn like her big sis Caitlin, but she also played as a guard on the university's women's basketball team.
Despite her busy schedule, it looks like Julie is always available to help celebrate Meghan's big moments, whether it's witnessing her engagement to husband Jim Edmonds or watching her knock 'em dead on Watch What Happens Live. We'd want to hang out with Julie, too.
RJ is Meghan's youngest sibling, and he lives all the way on the opposite side of the country in New York, which is the perfect place to be for a top model like himself. RJ is currently slaying the fashion game as a Wilhelmina model. You may have seen him grace the cover of Vogue Italia, walk for the likes of Prada, or star in campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger. Meghan previously (and lovingly) told The Daily Dish that her brother is "that ***hole that everybody wants to be."
For someone who's not exactly pleased about Meghan appearing on RHOC, RJ actually has a lot of connections to reality TV. He appeared on Catfish: The TV Show after one catfish used his photos to pretend to be the model in her online relationship. RJ is also good friends with The Real Housewives of New York City's Carole Radziwill, with whom he also shares custody of her dog Baby. "He's surrounded by Real Housewives and yet he wants nothing to do with it," Meghan told The Daily Dish. "It's so funny."
Meghan is even getting a little payback. "Actually, I Googled his name the other day, and it says. 'Meghan King Edmonds' brother.' And I'm like, 'Oh, right, you're living vicariously through me," she joked. "You're associated with Housewives forever." — Additional reporting by Jocelyn Vena
