Why Did Lisa Vanderpump Get Slapped?

The RHOBH star spills secrets of the new season.

Yesterday, an explosive new preview of season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dropped. And amidst all the name-calling, dinner party fights, and dramatic tears, there was one particular moment that really had people buzzing: Lisa Vanderpump getting slapped across the face.

"I've never been hit in the face. It was a bit of a shock," Lisa said when she appeared on Access Hollywood yesterday and confirmed that the perpetrator of the slap was none other than her former BFF-turned-enemy Brandi Glanville. "That was right at the end of filming and I think it definitely changed the dynamic for me. For the most part, things started to get back on track," Lisa said of their fraught friendship. "It's not good."

Lisa had previously revealed that forgiving Brandi for her past transgressions—including having her former friend spread bankruptcy rumors about her—"would take a lot." We're guessing a slap to the face wasn't quite what she meant!

Meanwhile, Lisa also dished about the rest of the season calling it "one of our best seasons yet! It's got the bling, it's got the gorgeousness, but it's also got real emotional storylines…real deep issues."

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on November 18th. Watch a preview below.
