Drew's RHOA castmates also shared their honest reactions to the divorce news.
Drew Sidora opened up about her and Ralph Pittman's divorce on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15 for the first time during the August 27 finale. Now, her castmates are reflecting on the moment they first heard the news of the former couple's split and sharing their thoughts on the matter.
Read on to hear what some of the ladies had to say on The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show.
How the RHOA Cast Reacted to Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman's Divorce
Kenya Moore spoke for most of the RHOA cast when she said she was "completely shocked" by Drew and Ralph's breakup. As Shereé Whitfield put it, "I think we all were really shocked because during the season, it seemed like they were fine."
Kandi Burruss shared a similar sentiment while specifically recounting one night she and her husband Todd Tucker had met up with Drew and Ralph.
"I was shocked simply because at the end at the finale of The Piano Lesson, she brought Ralph up there to celebrate with us for his birthday," Kandi explained. "So they came to New York and we all had fun and I was excited to see them, [and] I'm thinking everybody's happy. I [didn't know] that there was something deeper going on."
Sanya Richards-Ross also recalled Drew and Ralph "look[ing] like they were so in love [and] so happy" shortly before their divorce announcement. "I was happy for them, so I could not believe like a week or two later that the news came out that they were getting a divorce," she said. "[I] didn't see it coming."
Why Drew Sidora Waited to Reveal Her Divorce
While still on the subject during the RHOA After Show, Kandi brought up the fact that she saw Drew in person just one day before the news of her divorce broke, "but [she] didn't mention it."
"I didn't," Drew responded. "I had a moment, you know, where I broke down or whatever. But for me, I was just trying to get through the day. It was a struggle for me. But I was like, 'Let's get through the day. I'm not trying to hold up nobody's time, because once I spiral...'"
Drew also said she "really didn't know how to talk about it."
"It was almost happening faster than I could process it," she explained. "And sometimes I wanted to tell myself it wasn't happening or something was gonna change and we were gonna stop it."
That, and "I'm a private person, too," Drew added. "I just felt like until I'm ready to talk — until I can talk about it and really process it — I'm just trying to deal."
