Gizelle Bryant Has a Surprising Reason for Why She Speaks in the Third Person
And it has something to do with a fellow Housewife.
Gizelle Bryant definitely has a way with words, especially when it comes to referring to herself. You may have noticed that The Real Housewives of Potomac mom often likes to refer to herself in the third person, and we think that's downright fabulous.
However, Gizelle didn't even realize she had a tendency to do this until a fellow Housewife pointed it out. "I didn't know I did it until Season 1, and Ashley [Darby] told me it annoys her. So I was like, 'Really? I do that? Me, who, she, Gizelle does that?' So she was like, 'Yes, cut it out,'" Gizelle explained to The Daily Dish. "And then I realized that no, I'm not gonna cut it out. I'm gonna continue to annoy Ashley."
But if you think that anyone can just start referring to themselves in the third person, think again. "You have to be extremely confident about yourself. Not everybody is, even though they pretend to be," Gizelle said. "And you have to be a bad one. And this thing right here is a bad one."
Excuse us while we work on being as fierce as Gizelle.
