As a former Olympic athlete, Caitlyn Jenner has what it takes to train, compete ... and win! And, we have no doubt she could slay a tango. But, a rep for the I Am Cait star has updated fans on the reality star's plans to appear on Dancing With The Stars. And sadly, it looks like we won't see Jenner picking up her dancing shoes anytime soon.
While Jenner's appearance on the show seems to have been wishful thinking from fans, the idea is not totally far-fetched. In the past, Olympic pros such as Simone Biles, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Shawn White have hit the dance floor in the hopes of taking home the Mirrorball Trophy.
And, let's not forget that Jenner's stepdaughter — a little lady named Kim Kardashian — appeared on the show in 2008. Rob Kardashian also showed off his moves as a DWTS contestant in 2011. So, perhaps Jenner will change her mind sometime in the future.
But in the meantime, the reality star has shown more interest in politics than in dancing. Back in July, Jenner hinted at her interest in running for senate during an interview with NYC's AM 970.
"The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me," the Secrets Of My Life author said then. "Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job. Can I do a better job from the outside? Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody? Or are you better from the inside? And we are in the process of determining that ... I would look for a senatorial run.”
