Did Sweet Home's Jennifer and Josh Welch Just Go "All In" on Their Relationship?
This could be a sign of big things to come for the Oklahoma City-based couple.
Sweet Home's Jennifer Welch has made it very clear that she likes her "happily divorced" relationship with her ex-husband, Josh Welch, just the way it is. But could this couple be going "all in" on their relationship again?
Josh recently made what seems like quite the grand romantic gesture for Jennifer. "Josh recently tattooed my middle name on his shoulder," Jennifer revealed on Instagram, along with a lovely photo of the couple. "Do you think that is half-ass commitment or all in?"
The jury may still be out on this officially, but the majority of Jennifer's commenters seem to think this is a major step forward for the Sweet Home duo.
Jennifer and Josh divorced in 2013 after seven years of marriage following his relapse amid a lifelong struggle with drug addiction. The couple decided to reconcile after Josh's two back-to-back stints at rehab in 2015, and they now live under the same roof with sons Dylan, 15, and Roman, 13.
But that doesn't mean Jennifer and Josh will be getting remarried anytime soon. "The biggest question is always, 'Are you going to get remarried?' Younger people of course ask us that, but sometimes it's older people, too. It’s just like, 'No! We’ve already done that,'" Jennifer recently told AOL. "I see the tradition aspect of it, but I bought into the whole fairytale and it didn’t come out the way I wanted. I’m really happy now, though. I like this now. I don’t feel at 44 years old — and Josh is going to be 50 — that we have to get married. I’m not a religious person, so I don’t feel any kind of burden."
