Will Meghan King Edmonds Ask Vicki Gunvalson for Advice on Decorating Her Baby Nursery?
The #RHOC mom-to-be opens up about what she's most excited for once her baby girl arrives.
Meghan King Edmonds is embracing mommy life with open arms. After announcing her pregnancy in June, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom-to-be is now ready to take the next step: shopping for her daughter, duh!
Meghan invited The Daily Dish along during a recent outting to see what items she might want to include in her daughter's nursery.
"Seeing all this little tiny clothes get me so excited for the baby," she told us when she browsed through Bellini in Manhattan earlier this week, sharing that she wants her tot's wardrobe to be very traditional — which sounds like a theme that will also extend into the nursery. "It's really overwhelming for me to think about everything I need because the nursery is just the beginning of it. We want the nursery to be pink and gray. And we want it to be really girly. I want our nursery to look baby. I want to take advantage of the baby moments and the baby time frame because shes going to grow up so fast."
Since she's still in the planning stages, Meghan noted that "input is appreciated" as she takes on the task of decorating the baby's bedroom. And she even shouted out a certain O.C. Housewife when it comes to decorating baby rooms. "Vicki [Gunvalson], I guess, has decorated a nursery most recently because of her grandchildren," she said, noting that Vicki's grandbabies Troy and Owen, have moved back to the O.C. with their mom, Briana.
Following an intense IVF process, Meghan says she's feeling "calm, content, and happy" after a "volatile" first trimester. But that doesn't mean that her baby, who is due later this year, has felt as chill as her mom. "She's so active. It's wild," Meghan said. "Even in her Ultrasounds, they're like, 'This is one of the squirmiest babies we've seen.' So I hope that she's a little calmer once shes born because shes going nuts inside of me."
