Yolanda Foster Changes Her Name to Yolanda Hadid
The #RHOBH mom will now go back to the last name she shares with her three kids.
After officially filing for divorce from David Foster in January, Yolanda Foster will now go by Yolanda Hadid. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom confirmed she has gone back to the last name she shares with her three children, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar, as well as their father and her first ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid, on Tuesday's episode of Watch What Happens Live. "I never dropped the name 'Hadid' because I have three children by that name, and I asked the kids, you know, 'Should I go back to 'van den Herik'? and they said, 'No, you're our mommy and we have the same last name.'"
Yolanda and David announced their split back in December after four years of marriage. "Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple said in a joint statement at the time. "We've shared 9 beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues."
The news of Yolanda's name change comes hot on the heels of her trip to New York City, where she sat front row to watch Gigi walk in the Tommy Hilfiger show during New York Fashion Week. She's also been spotted on the streets of Manhattan with Anwar. "When your little man starts leading the way," she wrote about hanging out with her youngest child in the Big Apple.
