Taylor Armstrong Clarifies Her Yolanda Comments: "I Was Concerned She Had a Misdiagnosis"
The #RHOBH alum addressed her controversial opinions during her visit to #WWHL.
Yolanda Hadid has faced off with a number of the women this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills regarding not only her battle with Lyme diseases, but her kids' diagnosis as well. But, it's likely no one expected RHOBH alum Taylor Armstrong to be so critical of Yolanda's health during her brief appearance on the show earlier this season (clip below). So when Taylor stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, she clarified her remarks to Andy Cohen, explaining that they stemmed from a legitimate place of concern.
“I hope that no one else has to experience what she was experiencing. I feel horrible for her, but at the same time, I was concerned she had a misdiagnosis because I have family members who have had neurological diseases," Taylor explained. "They were misdiagnosed for a very long time and they ended up having multiple sclerosis. So I was just concerned. It really was out of concern. I wish the best for her.”
Since being diagnosed with Lyme, Yolanda has been completely open about her struggles. In her cast blog this week, Yolanda discusses the questions she faced about her illness and shared that she is now looking to the future. "The debate on this very personal matter has affected me deeper then I was willing to admit. Even though my reactions are to others' actions, it still doesn't make it right for any of us women to get tangled in this unpleasant web," Yolanda writes. "It is time for me to let go of any negativity. I feel for not only some of the women in this group but for those in my life who choose to judge my journey. In order to get to the finish line, I must address forgiveness and practice love starting in my own heart."
