Macaulay Culkin is looking a little hipstered out these days and we are here for it.
The former child actor was spotted last week at a convenience store with artfully tousled hair, plastic-framed glasses, and a sexy smirk that has gotten the internet rightfully hot and bothered. Culkin was out and about with longtime friend and collaborator Seth Green and Brenda Song. The three are working on upcoming film Changeland (written and directed by Green) together.
Ever since his star-making turn as adorable 8-year-old Kevin McAllister in Home Alone, Culkin’s looks and life have gotten a lot of attention over the years. As with many child actors, growing up in the spotlight hasn’t always been easy and the internet hasn’t always been kind to his fluctuating weight and appearance.

Just a few years ago, Culkin was heavily criticized for his gaunt physique and unkempt looks, with rumors swirling that he was battling a serious drug problem. He cleared the air in a Guardian interview last year, saying, “No, I was not pounding six grand of heroin every month or whatever.”
Though in that same interview Culkin claimed he had “no idea” why people and paparazzi were still so fascinated by him, the star has had an admittedly positive headline-making week. Besides his hot new makeover, his weekend was spent having quality time with his goddaughter Paris Jackson and the two even got adorable matching spoon tattoos to commemorate the occasion.
Mac and Paris' matching tats, which they debuted this weekend.
