Only the Beginning

Daniella describes 'The Fashion Show's' first challenge and elimination.

The First Day

Wow! Has it only been one day!? I can’t believe everything that happened. Everyone is so exciting. I think some people are going to end up being really good friends and others, ahem, will drive me crazy. But OMG! Kelly Rowland and Isaac Mizrahi!?! My mom’s maiden name is Mizrachy! My family is going to die! They love him! That was the first thing that came into my head when the two of them walked out. I couldn’t believe what was actually happening and when they presented the black dress I totally blanked. I so wasn’t ready and in the last minutes when my hands were shaking and my heart was pounding I totally threw on that disgusting glue and silver powder and my dressed ended up looking like an arts and crafts project! I don’t know what I was thinking but I’m really excited for the main challenge. It took a lot of standing my ground to convince Merlin to agree with me, but I have too much integrity to let something manifest that I can’t agree with. I’m really glad I have a chance now to show who I really am. I love the colors I chose and I think they are so modern and young.

Anyway it was a really long day and I’m glad to finally be out of my heels and off my feet. I love my roommates. They are wild … especially Merlin who is walking around in his underwear and I am way to distracted to think about fashion right now. Good night!

The First Elimination

This morning in our last two hours, I cannot believe James-Paul and Lydia pulled it off. I was shocked that we were the winning team. I don’t think I was “glaring.” I was just shocked and confused about everything coming out of that boy’s mouth,  and honestly his act is getting old.

I am sad though that my model didn’t taker off her jacket. That asymmetrical top was amazing and I don’t know why my outfit wasn’t recognized at all by the judges when my castmates were all raving about it. I also threw together a necklace out of bobby pins and fabric buttons. I haven’t really figured out exactly what the judges are looking for and I’m really confused about the audiences taste-crowd favorite!?

Anyway, I’m back at the suite and I love the rest of my roommates. I never expected to come here and make friends in this competition and I am laughing so hard I have to cross my legs. Tomorrow is the photo shoot. Gotta get my drama queen beauty sleep. G’night.
