Ace of Cakes' Duff Goldman Is Planning This Crazy Cake for His Own Wedding

Ace of Cakes star Duff Goldman is famous for whipping up cakes that are anything but ordinary. Need a "sushi platter" made of butter, sugar, and icing? He's your man! So, now that the cake master is planning his own wedding, it should come as no surprise that his guests won't be biting into your typical three-tier fondant snoozer.

First, some quick background on the upcoming event: In April, Goldman got engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Johnna Colbry. The proposal was so impromptu that he used a snippet of butcher's twine instead of a ring — but the wedding menu will require much more planning.

The sugar pro recently opened up to People about his dessert plans for the big day. "The cake we’re hanging from the ceiling,” he announced nonchalantly. NBD, just a gravity-defying cake to wow some seen-it-all guests.

Of course, there will also be savories to spare. The baker's wedding menu is also set to include "a taco guy, a baked potato bar, pizza, and just a ton of really good food." Not to mention, there will also be a ton of really cute animals. 

"We’re going to have a petting zoo when you walk in with ponies and sheep and goats, because we both love animals," Goldman spilled.
