Alton Brown Is Married — and the Wedding Brunch Was Among the "Best Meals" of His Life

Good Eats host Alton Brown married Elizabeth Ingram in a Charleston wedding — and the menu was legit.

The Food Network’s Alton Brown is a married man, having tied the knot with Atlanta-based restaurant designer Elizabeth Ingram over the weekend. The idyllic nuptials took place on a boat in Charleston, South Carolina — a happy fact that Alton himself confirmed when he shared a pic of the couple’s dog enjoying (or perhaps not much enjoying) the reception next to a glass of bubbly.

“Mom and dad got married on a boat and all I got was a glass of weird fizzy stuff,” he captioned the sweet snap.

Wedding guests enjoyed a “special brunch” from Charleston’s Chubby Fish restaurant. “The food, based on local by-catch, was one of the best meals I can remember,” the groom shared.

And the caption revealed his very favorite dish, too: “The shrimp and rice was my favorite."

Before the wedding, the groom told Food & Wine that caviar would also be very much on their wedding menu: “We are caviar fanatics. We’re gonna have lots of it, good stuff. My fiancé and I are both pretty crazy about fish eggs, that’s the one thing we’re really splurging on.”

The bride shared a photo of her own from the big, delicious day.
