Kim Kardashian Lost So Much Weight on This Cleanse, She "Worried" Her Met Gala Dress Wouldn’t Fit

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians mom did a 10-day regimen that included whole days of liquid meals.

Kim Kardashian was so intent on her Met Gala look being perfect that she went on the 10-day Sunfare Optimal Cleanse beforehand. But it worked perhaps even more effectively than she had planned — and created a whole new problem that she didn't anticipate.

“I was actually really nervous about wearing the dress because I did a cleanse a couple of weeks before and lost six or seven pounds. At the final fitting, I was worried it wouldn’t fit. When I tried it on, though, it fit like a glove. It was perfection!” she wrote on her subscription-based website and app.

The Optimal Cleanse requires enduring liquid meals for three of the 10 days, which has some nutrition professionals concerned.

"Eating solid food that requires chewing, takes longer to eat, and adds more volume to your stomach will likely leave you feeling more full than a shake with the same calories and even the same macros," according to contributing nutrition editor Cynthia Sass in Health"I have seen a lack of fullness from shakes that leads to nibbling on extras, which can result in eating more calories and not seeing results."

Some Met gala attendees went a completely different route to prepare: Take Bella Hadid, for instance, who stuck with... pizza.
