This Is The Exact Recipe For Meghan Markle's "Filthy, Sexy" Pasta

Don't tell anyone, but it's actually — gasp! — healthy.

By Jenny Berg

Royal watchers and pasta-lovers alike, listen up! It recently came to our attention that Meghan Markle has a recipe for pasta that tastes "filthy" and "sexy," even though it's totally clean. And now, we know exactly how to make it.

First, a quick refresher: The now-duchess told Delish about the recipe before she became a member of the royal family. Here's what she said the about the recipe, which involves slow-roasting zucchini for five hours: "The sauce gets so creamy, you'd swear there's tons of butter and oil in it, but it's just zucchini, water and a little bouillon," she said. She added that it tastes like filthy, sexy mush.

Intrigued? Here's exactly how to make it, thanks to The Mirror.

Ingredients

1 onion, chopped
5 zucchini, chopped
1 cube of bouillon
lemon juice
Parmesan cheese
red pepper flakes

Directions

Heat olive oil in a pan
Toss in onions, soften for about six minutes
Add zucchini, water, bouillon, salt, and pepper to the pan
Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker
Cook until zucchini starts to melt, for about four hours
Add to pasta
Season with lemon, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes as needed
And, bon appétit!
