Meghan Markle has been showcasing her passion for cooking on the front burner these days: She penned the foreword to a new charity cookbook called Together: Our Community Cookbook that features recipes by women from all over the world. Then, she rolled up her sleeves to cook and host a luncheon for its release — all while already pregnant... as the world now knows.
She and Prince Harry are currently on the road in Australia, where she found a kitchen at the Admiralty House in Sydney to bake some banana bread to bring to the proprietors of the family-owned Mountain View Farm in Dubbo. Not that she was really doing anything else, anyway — just hanging out, being a new royal, on an international tour, and expecting her first kid with her new husband, Prince Harry. No big.
Banana has been a signature theme in the life of Meghan and Harry — who share a special fondness for the fruit.
