Is Vicki Gunvalson Getting Ready to Open Her Own Bar in Mexico?
The Real Housewives of Orange County pal wants to whoop it up south of the border.
Vicki Gunvalson is all about whooping it up — and spending time in Mexico. So might The Real Housewives of Orange County pal be ready to merge those two passions and open her very own bar in Mexico? Yes and no, she says.
“I actually was looking at buying into Andale’s and then I thought, ‘Why don’t I open up my own bar down there?’ and I entertained that a little bit,” Vicki told Page Six of the Housewives' fave spot. But it's not going to happen right away.
“I have to have more time in the day,” Vicki told Page Six. “I’m so busy."
One of the things on her to-list is spending time with fans in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in December during her planned "Vacation With Vicki" getaway.
“My condo is actually right next door to the Hyatt so I go to the Hyatt all the time,” Gunvalson said. “So it’s really natural for me to have that be the host. I just want to meet people that have been loyal fans for 12 years. Some of them have been 13 years, two years, and it’s going to be nice and intimate. It’ll be really fun… and it’ll just be nice and also to get away. I love traveling."
Vicki has a four-decade-long family tradition of hitting that condo with her fam.
“There’s a lot of history for me in Puerto Vallarta. It’s old Mexico. It’s not Gucci Gucci. It’s cobblestone streets and very romantic and very, very Mexico and it’s beautiful. The food’s incredible. It’s affordable. So that’s that’s why I like it. I come from middle-class America. I’m not very pretentious and I just enjoy going out for dinner — for we can go out for 10 bucks, Steve and I," she told Page Six.
