The Chew Co-Hosts Are Getting Back Together (Minus Mario Batali)
Carla Hall gushed about The Chew co-hosts Micheal Symon and Clinton Kelly: "Y’all, we’re gettin’ the gang back together!"
After sexual assault allegations first emerged against Mario Batali, ABC first suspended and then fired the chef from The Chew. The show continued for a while with co-hosts Carla Hall, Michael Symon, and Clinton Kelly, but ultimately, ABC canceled The Chew — and both its fans and the remaining co-hosts expressed their devastation. Hall compared the show's final days to a "living funeral."
Happily, in the months since, Hall made her reappearance on TV to fans' delight, and the co-hosts remain in touch. And now, Hall shared, fans can get ready for a reunion of The Chew hosts — and it will go down in Kelly's own kitchen.
Kelly shared on Facebook, "Tuesday, May 21st, at 5:30pm ET... We’ll be doing a Facebook Live from my kitchen in NYC! (I’m sure we’ll stream it on one of our IGs too.) This is literally the first time since October that we’ll be in the same city at the same time! So psyched. Please drop in and say heyyyyy!"
Hall re-posted the exciting news, with a note of her own: "YAAAASSSSSSS. Y’all, we’re gettin’ the gang back together on Tuesday, May 21st at 5:30pm ET on Facebook Live!"
