Tristan Thompson Coolly Ate Cake While Khloe Kardashian Screamed Into Her Phone
Khloe Kardashian's ex Tristan Thompson was celebrating on a day when she surely wasn't.
On March 27, Keeping Up With the Kardashians released a tease for its new season. In the dramatic clip, Khloe Kardashian's emotions rightfully boil over amid the Jordyn Woods/Tristan Thompson cheating scandal — and in one moment, she's seen screaming "Liar!" into her phone. Meanwhile...
Thompson was having a bit of a different experience on the same day that clip hit the Internet: He was enjoying some cake with his b-ball buddies. Specifically, he shared on Instagram a video clip showing a basketball-theme cake for Cleveland Cavaliers' teammate Channing Frye, who announced his retirement at the end of the season.
Panning over the cake as it's being cut, Thompson explains that we're seeing "Channing['s] retirement cake," which has an upper tier done to look like a half basketball, topped with a score board topper announcing: "Culminating a great career."
He then goes on with some colorful narration describing the various jerseys pictured on the sides of the bottom tier: "Cavs, Phoenix, L.A., he didn’t do nothing, Orlando, you got a deal, Portland, you got dunked on..."
So, amid the drama and the pain, Thompson's message seems to be... let them eat cake?
