Patti Stanger Said Jeff Bezos Wouldn’t Be Single Long … And It Looks Like She’s Right

"He likes a partner."

Patti Stanger is Back!

On January 9, Jeff Bezos and his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie, very politely announced that they will be continuing their "shared lives as friends." And even before the ink was dry on the tweet (well, so to speak), The Millionaire Matchmaker herself had an idea of what might come next for the Amazon founder. Who, by the way, is reportedly worth about $137 billion.

Speaking to Page Six, Patti Stanger said: "He’s a catch. He’s not a loser." And she's not just talking about the tech guru's bank account. "It’s not about the money," Patti continued. "He has a lot of charisma. He’s super sexy. When you’re trying to build an empire like he is — he’s an innovator, he’s a visionary — you need a partner that has that visionary experience, too. She might be slowing down … She might want to relax … and there might have been a mutual separation of not going in the same direction."

Looking deeper into her crystal ball, Patti shared what she thinks is on the dating horizon for the visionary. "I feel like he’s going to dabble and dip, dabble and dip. I also think he’s not stupid,” she said. “He knows that women can use him for money, that there are a lot of gold diggers out there … There’s a lot of people who could be like, ‘I want to date Jeff Bezos,’ but they’re not looking at the real Jeff Bezos ... He’s going to take his time to get the next marriage going, but he might play the field a bit."

However, just hours after the reports of his divorce surfaced, sources told People that Bezos was already dating news anchor Lauren Sanchez. And, in fact, the two have been friendly for years (as seen below in 2016), and were even together at Sunday’s Golden Globes.

Sanchez is the co-host of Good Day LA, and is currently divorcing her (very successful) husband of 13 years, Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell. And, about the distance between Seattle and Los Angeles? Well, she also has her helicopter pilot license.

"He likes a partner,” Patti observed. “I feel like he’s a relationship guy. I don’t see him single for a very long time." So, if this is just a “dabble and dip” and not a serious relationship, it sounds like Patti's door is always open for him.
