When I first agreed to appear on The Millionaire Matchmaker I really didn't know what I was getting into. I rarely watch television, so I hadn't watched a full episode of the show. I had only been vaguely familiar with the show by seeing bits and pieces of it while flipping channels or surfing the Internet. Being that I am in the Internet business and have many dating related web sites (see them here at GaryMancusoJr.com) I often come across clips of The Millionaire Matchmaker while I am online and I thought it was an entertaining show.

I thought it would be fun to be the one getting advice instead of playing the role of matchmaker. I own a dating website called EliteMate.com, and we often throw singles parties that I host, and I often play matchmaker to my members. I like to help my shy members connect with one another. I was really looking forward to being in the opposite position and having someone help me. I was really surprised how quickly Patti becomes so negative and gets so confrontational. Patti watches a video of you talking about your past dating experiences and immediately jumps to conclusions, and I feel like she takes things out of context.

As far as whether or not I found love on the show. No I didn't, but that's probably my fault because I truthfully did let my penis do the picking. I'm not complaining. I am a big believer that physical attraction is the most important thing. I'll just wait till my penis picks a girl that I have stuff in common with and she can put up with me.

As far as Bonnie and I are concerned, after the date we got together immediately after the taping and we went on another date. We had a great time together. I am still in contact with her, and I think she is cool.

All in all taping the show was fun. I hung out in LA for a few weeks in a beautiful suite. I frequented all of the hot spots in L.A. I rented a great boat, and had a great time. If I had to do it again I would.
