Wait Until You See the Shoes Porsha Williams Wore Under Her Reunion Dress
At 9 months pregnant, Porsha made a sensible — and incredibly stylish! — shoe choice for The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion.
Soaring high heels and dramatic fashion moments oftentimes go hand in hand — but not always. When filming took place for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Part 1 (speaking of dramatic, catch it here), Porsha Williams was well into her third trimester of pregnancy. Therefore, wearing heels was a rather dangerous and uncomfortable proposition. But, the new mama did have a sparkling substitute.
In an April 7 Instagram Story, the Atlanta fashion plate revealed a secret behind her reunion look. Under her floor-sleeping, black gown, she was wearing bejeweled ... sneakers! The video showed Porsha in the makeup chair backstage, where stylists were putting the final touches on glamorous beauty look. (Think popping lashes and a piled-high updo.)
Someone we presume to be Porsha's stylist held up the pair of sparkling kicks in front of the camera. "Sorry y'all, Cinderella couldn't do a heel this year," he announced.
