Bravotv.com: Were you surprised to hear what Kandi had to say about Dennis?
Cynthia Bailey: Of course, like the rest of the ladies, I was surprised to hear what Kandi had to say about Dennis. It was definitely an earful. And speaking of ears, Kandi definitely keeps her ear to the streets. She was the initial person to express her concerns to me when I was dating Will. If these Atlanta streets are talking baby, please believe Kandi is going to hear about it. It’s like if you want to know what's going on in Atlanta, don’t ask Siri, ask Kandi, LOL!
Bravotv.com: Did you think that Kandi should not tell Porsha what she's heard about Dennis?
CB: No, I absolutely did not think that Kandi should be the one to tell Porsha what she heard about Dennis. They were just becoming cool again, and I don’t feel like it would have been well received. I definitely would not have felt comfortable relaying the message to Porsha as she and I have had some bad history in the past where my relationships were called into question. I always thought if anyone was going to tell her at all, it should be NeNe. They have a big sister/little sister relationship, and Porsha has never spoken negatively about Gregg or NeNe and Gregg’s relationship. I felt Porsha would be the most comfortable receiving it from her.
Bravotv.com: Why did you decide to open a wine bar?
CB: I decided to open up THE BAILEY WINE CELLAR because after visiting Napa and touring the wineries there, I genuinely became interested in and more curious about the wine culture. I love the experience and history that comes with selecting and enjoying a great bottle of wine. Wine is smart, sexy, and classy. I thought it would be a great fit for me, since I pride myself on aging like a fine wine, LOL! Seriously, I think every neighborhood can appreciate a cute little specialty wine shop. CB: Well, in the end it was pretty clear that NeNe told Porsha, and Porsha confirmed it.
