Is This What Toto had in Mind?
Episode 13: Bravotv.com's Associate Editor counts down this week's top three moments.
No. 3 - Don't Be Tardy for Safari
Lions and rhinos and 'Wives, oh my! We're truly not in Atlanta anymore, as the ladies went from wild fights to wildlife on their safari. And as Phaedra pointed out it was as picturesque as... a beer commercial? In any event, it looked spectacular and both the Talls and the Smalls got to see some amazing animals in their natural habitat.
It seemed like the Smalls were having a little more fun watching the wildlife than the Talls (I don't who Cynthia was kidding when she tried to get Marlo and NeNe to quiet down). So much fun in fact, that Phaedra decided to put on her own little Masterpiece Theater of sorts and narrate her interpretation of the Talls' triangle via a group of giraffes. I guess it was too much of a coincidence that the three tallest animals just happened to be standing together for Phaedra to pass up commenting on all the vying for NeNe's attention.
It was quite the juxtaposition starting the episode with the tail end of Sheree and Marlo's melee and then seeing the 'Wives interact with the local children. Their visit to the orphanage was moving for them (and for all of us at home), but I most enjoyed seeing them play with a group of school kids. Those kids can dance! And it was precious watching all the ladies try to bust a move with them. (I think those kids could have taught the Housewives a thing or two.) But besides being fun to watch, spending time with the children seemed to have helped the ladies move on from all their personal issues. At least for now anyway...
Grab your umbrella when you go out with Marlo, because evidently she likes to make it rain. And really what better way to blow off some steam after having a fight? The other ladies were slightly taken aback by all the cash raining down in the club, but that didn't stop Kandi and Phaedra from profiting off of Marlo's money throwing. As Phaedra aptly noted, "If honey wants to throw her money away, throw it right in my bosoms. Ayden could use some new shoes, some pampers, everything else, and some souvenirs." Get it, girl!
Side note: After watching this go down, I couldn't help but wonder -- Is this what Toto had in mind?
