Cynthia: I'm Not a Fan of the Restaurant Business
Cynthia Bailey explains why she doesn't think it's a great idea for Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker to open a restaurant now.
Bravotv.com: Were you surprised to hear about Kandi's issues with Phaedra and Porsha?
Cynthia Bailey: Yes. I had already heard that there was an issue between Todd and Phaedra regarding the workout DVD that she hired him to produce. I had no idea there was also an issue between Kandi, Phaedra, and Porsha until Kandi told me and Peter about it at lunch. The ladies always seem to be cool when we all hang out together.
Bravotv.com: Do you think it's a good idea for Kandi and Todd to open a restaurant?
CB: Go for it! I am just not a fan of the restaurant industry from my own experience. I know firsthand that restaurants can be costly, time consuming, and a lot of work in the beginning stages. Peter is very hands on with his businesses and the time away from home has definitely put a strain on our marriage. In my opinion, I believe this type of business would be especially hard on a new marriage and a new baby.
Bravotv.com: Why did you decide to have Kenya and Kim shoot your commercial?
CB: It was a no brainer to ask Kenya and Kim to be involved in my Cynthia Bailey Eyewear commercial. They are very both talented directors and producers. I am a fan of both of their work. I would be honored to work with either of the ladies. However, to have them both would be incredible!
