Bravotv.com: How shocked were you by what went down between Porsha and Cynthia?
Phaedra Parks: With the history of this group, nothing surprises me anymore. Porsha and Cynthia are both passionate, strong-willed women; so a simple misunderstanding quickly escalated. It’s not how you start, but how you finish, and I am pleased that they finished the matter with sincere apologies and an agreement to put the altercation behind them. They both took responsibility for their respective actions and that afforded them the ability to move forward.
Bravotv.com: What's the toughest part of being a single parent?
PP: Being a single parent has its daily challenges and can certainly be stressful at times. The hardest part is seeing my children grow up without the presence of their father. It’s very important, particularly for boys, to have a positive male role model to show them how to grow into successful and responsible young men. I have become very involved in the issue of positive male role models for young boys and work with communities to help them initiate programs that provide support to young boys who do not have a father in their lives.
Phaedra Parks: Were you surprised when Kandi called out Kenya?
PP: Like I said, nothing surprises me anymore with this group of women. Kandi expressed what was on her mind, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
